A self-initiated concept exploring the Square Connect App—a mobile platform to empower business owners through connection, collaboration, and growth. I wrote the brief, created the UI/UX, and developed visuals to extend the existing Square Community into a personalized mobile experience. The concept leverages AI to tailor content and resources, aiming to engage both new and existing sellers and support business growth globally. This project reflects my ability to think proactively and connect user needs with product and brand strategy.
Art Direction
Led the creative direction and production of an updated overview video to highlight Square Loyalty’s key features for Food & Drink and Retail sellers. The goal was to help top-of-funnel users quickly understand the product’s benefits. I partnered with an external video team, developed the visual direction, and managed feedback from stakeholders to align with business goals and brand guidelines. The final piece served as a strategic top-of-funnel asset.

We aim to create product-driven stories that showcase how Square products enable sellers to work efficiently, while also incorporating moments of empathy and emotion. Our global outreach has allowed us to share seller stories that resonate, using a design system that emphasizes emotional, product-focused storytelling with rich photography.

Art Direction
Square has established itself as a leader in the payments market with Tap to Pay on iPhone (TTPi) acceptance. To showcase the benefits of this technology, we aimed to create testimonial videos featuring real sellers sharing their experiences with TTPi. This short-form content spotlights genuine sellers and their use of the technology. The testimonials were marketed in Japan, the UK, and Australia, with the objective to drive awareness and consideration for TTPi and Square through seller stories.

Directed the visual and UX refresh of Square’s Payments Overview page for the US and AU markets. The work included a new design system, custom photography, and brand tonality to modernize the page while improving clarity and hierarchy for new sellers. I explored swipe gestures and immersive visuals to reinforce the theme of “beyond the transaction.” This was a high-visibility project that connected art direction with strategic messaging.

As the payments landscape evolves, we recognize the need for a refresh in creative content. I led multiple photoshoots aimed at building a content library to support new product launches and customer interactions. I managed pre-production, traveled for on-location shoots to meet sellers, and directed storytelling to ensure visual authenticity. I also worked with external partners for post-production. The final assets were foundational to marketing and brand content across multiple channels.

Grow with Google programming provides free training, products and tools designed to help people find a job, advance their career or grow their business.
I redesigned the Small Business program page for Google’s Grow with Google initiative. The focus was on improving usability and navigation during COVID, when access to tools and resources became more critical. I worked directly with Google stakeholders, followed brand guidelines closely, and designed for clarity and accessibility.

Created illustrations and an experience map for Becky, State Farm’s AI-powered internal platform designed to streamline routine claims processes. I developed a friendly visual style and color palette to make the tool feel approachable while staying within brand parameters. This work supported the platform’s expansion to more complex claims scenarios.
